Lake Wood family mini-session in Uckfield

When my awesome friend Gemma came to stay from London a few weeks ago, we took the opportunity to get some family photos of her, her husband and little Alasdair when we went for a walk in Lake Wood, Uckfield. It was a good test for me as it was the middle of the day and sunny so, other than the really shaded areas or cloudy moments, we had to deal with harsh lighting plus a somewhat reluctant husband ;)

Happily, I know he is thrilled with the photos he's already seen so I seem to have pulled it off. Lake Wood is such a gorgeous setting, it's definitely on my list of local locations for family sessions. I'll definitely be taking the twins back when the trees have fully changed colour for some beautiful autumnal shots.
